Just got my N900 and threw my Cincinnati Bell Wireless 3G SIM in it.
3G frequencies work but when I try and do a GPRS/Data connection it fails. I know I have the right settings the issue is there is no place for me to enter modem init strings (there were back in OS2008 for tethering) or tell it a number to dial (at+cgdcont=1,"IP","web.gocbw.com" and *99#). It starts connecting but fails after 30 seconds-- I get a similar malfunction if I were tethering to my laptop on my old phone and forgot to add that init string.
I poked around for awhile over SSH but could never locate anything conclusive as far as a config file goes. I also looked around on the web and these forums-- still nothing of use. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone else here using Cincinnati Bell with their N900?
EDIT:
Nevermind...works just fine now...required a reboot after it stopped seeing my SIM card and everything is fine. Hmf.
