EDIT: Solved! I deleted all the content of /home/user/.mozilla/microb.

Now it works!

I had the same problem.
However, using the FileBox app (enabling the option to view hidden Files and Folders), I accessed .../mozilla/microb and discovered a file called LOCK that showed "broken symlink" .I deleted this file and in doing so, for me, fixed the issue..
