I'm on T-Mobile USA and I can make a conference call with up to 2 other callers. If I use another phone (tested it with iPhone, E71, Blackberry 8500, 5310) I can make a conference call and hold up to 5 other callers.
With N900 if I have an active conference I cannot even call a 3rd number and leave the conference on hold. Is there a software limitation related to the Phone application? Can it be changed?
Thanks!

I'm not sure about the above issue, but I'm betting its a software issue.

Personally, I'd look at Mumble for massive audio conversations; I'm not sure if its quite ready yet, but its an excellent tool otherwise.

you can't have a conference with skype on n900.
even so, i'm interested in using the normal T-Mobile network.

it's definitely an issue on n900's side since other phones can do it.

oh, and i'm sure it'a possible to change that. the problem is how difficult is it and if anyone is willing to do it. too bad i'm a total newbie in programming...

I'm sorry to say, but this bug is a WONTFIX for the N900... hopefully it'll get fixed for Harmattan (N9)...
