And I found it works again when I press the phone on the speaker hole, without my finger on the proximity sensor...
Should it be a mechanic problem, the part of the screen near the sensor seems to be flexible?
This is by far the most interesting workaround for this problem...

It's very strange, may be I'll have to open my brick!

I don't think so. I guess it is just some shading effect.

BTW, while you have to replace screen protector, why don't you try an anti-glare one?

Brando ultraclear is the only one I like to use...
