I downloaded the Linux desktop version and ran it well on my x64 Debian system. Then I went to the maemo.org/packages form and put in the word "mono". Ok, now that I know there is libmono for Maemo I installed the package libmono-winforms2.0-cil with all its dependencies.
I got sMath Desktop on my n900 and started it with
Code:
mono SMathStudio_Desktop.exe
I attached a screenshot of what it looked like. SMath is starting well on Maemo BUT there seems to be an issue handling floating point numbers (the error message is saying: 'Input string was not in the correct format' while assigning a float number to a variable or trying to get the root of a number).
Is this a limitation of libmono for Maemo or could there be a solution?
