I have beent trying to get step by step instructions on how to get the minimo browser to install on the N800. I just purchased this device and would like to use google docs. I read something about setting up repository...but have no clue on how all that works. A detail step by step will be extremely appreciated. Been loosing alot of sleep because of this.

Could you be more specific about your problems and post a link to the tutorial.

I went to maemo.org to find the minimo firefox app. I click on the homepage link
since there was not an option to get the app from maemo.org. The link takes me to the
mozilla website, however there is not anything that is available for the n800. This is
where I am stuck. Please tell me exactly what I should do from here. I read
somewhere when trying to figure this out somewhere on the maemo.org site about
setting up a repository but not sure what that means. Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

If you search hard, you can find the following:

from AppManager
Add this entry into "new catalogue":
web address: http://home.ufam.edu.br/~agan/minimo/
Distribution: bora
Components: user
"Refresh list"

Go to "Browser Installable applications"
pick "Minimo".

A simple search in this forum using the Seach tool would have revealed

http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ghlight=minimo

and thus

http://tonikitoo.blogspot.com/2007/0...available.html

It seems simpler when you omit the false leads and just give the answer.

I think I gave a very balanced reply. This way, the user can also get other information like if using Minimo works well with Google Docs/Spreadsheet.

Also, I like to give the user the link to the actual programmer's website/blog (if I can) out of respect.

We do what we can... As long as the user gets the help they need..
