I ordered this from Ebay but now they have pulled the supplier from their list and I will have to start a dispute to get my money back.

Where else in the uk can I get an 8Gb card that is known to agreee with the N810?

thanks

I know you said the UK, but if you don't mind Newegg, I got my patriot 8gb mini sdhc from them. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220295

I just posted this in another thread...Avoid the 8gb Patriot.

"I recently purchased one of these, and I can say that it is a very cheap card.
Transfer rate from computer was less than 1mb per second! After using it for an afternoon, the n810 wouldn't recognize it. It's now on its way back to newegg. Don't bother with this one. I don't think its work the hassle.

Iam snatching up this deal before it dissapears..4gb kingston mini for 16.85 shipped."

My experience has been the opposite with this card. I've had it for close to 3 months now, transferring lots of stuff back and forth, running it with 20 movies, 400 songs and it hasn't skipped a beat yet plus there's no stuttering with video or audio. Granted, it might not be the fastest card in the deck, but find me another 8GB mini card for $30.00 and I'll bite, but until it takes a dive on me or doesn't perform the way it should, I'm happy with the purchase. Ironically, the 4GB kingston has given me more problems than the patriot.

Just ordered one... total with shipping $32.02! Let's see how it works once it arrives.

P.S. I do have 8GB full size Patriot SDHC card in my N800 and it has been working fine... hopefully this MiniSDHC won't disappoint me...

Just had this card for couple days and so far no problems.

The write speed on N810 is slow, aroung 1.5MB/s, but that's mostly because of the N810 itself being slow card reader/writer. Using external USB card reader I get over 7MB/s write speed. (And the card reader is likely not the fastest...)

I'll second this. I got one from Newegg which worked for a week or so then died. Couldn't read it in any reader. They shipped me a replacement which has worked perfectly since. I haven't tried timing any transfers, but it doesn't feel slow. (N.b., I transfer everything over wireless; I never use the USB.) I have both the Patriot card and the internal MMC formatted as ext3.
