I compile powertop on N810
http://www.lesswatts.org/projects/powertop/
But N810 kernel compiled without CONFIG_TIMER_STATS.
Do anybody have kernel with CONFIG_TIMER_STATS?
Where can I get N810 kernel patches?

svs, nice work. Mind sharing your binaries here?

You can recompile a new kernel in scratchbox.

Run apt-get source kernel-source-rx-34

Actually, I plan on modding and releasing uberkernel. Be a long time before I get round to that though.

http://repository.maemo.org/pool/chi...-source-rx-34/

From there. Sbox should get it by default as that repo is standard. But you can download it yourself and apply the diff that is in that folder with zcat.

I compiled it once a while ago, but I it wouldn't load the modules that went with the default Nokia kernel. You'll probably need to recompile those as well, I guess...

Nokia kernel was compiled with unset CONFIG_TIMER_STATS.
Without CONFIG_TIMER_STATS powertop is unusable.
I'll try to recompile kernel later.

Can someone please compile this in one of the kernels like the one with rotation support?

Believe me, it's not worth it.

I've tried so much times to compile a kernel with CONFIG_TIMER_STATS. I could only get it to boot up with a stock kernel with just that enabled and then when the wifi was enabled, the tablet would lock up.

Hmmm OK well, that is strange because I know a nokia kernel developer is using PowerTOP. I'll ask him if he can give me his kernel, but I don't know what dependancies it has and such...

I'm finally setting up a Scratchbox btw...
