I've only had my 770 (V2006) for a day or so but I have a few questions that I hope can be answered. I know they're probably a bit basic, but, hey, we all have to start somewhere!

1) How can I browse my XP machine using WiFi? I'm already connecting to the 'net sucessfully but I cant find any way of saying 'browse / explore 109.168.0.4' for example. The file browser seems to have no network option at all.

2) Everyone I know is on Skype and MS Messenger. Can I communicate with these guys using the 770 and the built in Google software?

3) What's a sensible size RS MMC card to add on? Is there any specific manufacturer / type that will work with the unit?

4) Is there a Word Processing app that will work with the 2006 OS?

5) How do I print anything? Is it even possible?

I'll do my best here...

1.) It's possible to access Windows shared folders but you'll have to know a bit of linus first. Poke around the thread called Samba in the apps section of this forum for instructions.

2.) GAim, available @ www.maemo.org, supports MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc.

3.) I have a 512MB card but I'd go for a 1GB. Some people have problems with the 770 reading 2GB cards.

4.) There was an app, Abi Word for 2005... but it hasn't been ported to 2006 yet. Keep in mind it's not as functional s MS Word.

5.) Nope. Not yet. Just copy over to your PC and print from there for now.
