What are the advantages of using android over maemo? Apps? Browser speed? GPS? Games? Stablitlity? Can I use all apps or only certain apps? I cannot find any review's on it.

Not really. Cannot access the marketplace, only 3rd party apps. They all suck compared to Maemo apps (IMO)
Browser Speed:
Not really. After the advent of Tear, the only advantage the android browser has is a slick interface and slightly more stability.
GPS (and camera and FM radio and SOUND)
Nope, tough luck for now,

Its ok, maybe a little worse than Maemo.

It's sexy on a phone, but not on the Nokia tablets right now, due to missing Android Market, missing Google applications, missing hardware graphics acceleration, missing accelerometers, and missing sound support.
The 800x480 screen resolution of the tablets make Android look real good, though.
