There are a few applications for which I would like to change where they save data. They are:

1. camera. I want to change the default folder (directory). It is camera/images. I want to put it under Pictures/camera/images, which is a directory I made on my removable memory. Is there a config file to edit? If so, where/how?

2. mDictionary. I installed a bunch of dictionary files and built caches, but I put them under my Packages directory and now it is all cluttered. I'd like to reorganize all this, but I don't want to break mDictionary. (I'm a newbie to the NIT world and to Linux to some extent.) I can drag/drop the actual files, but I'm sure that will break the app.

3. mapper. I have the Wayfinder (default) app installed and I also just started using Maemo Mapper today. I'll probably get rid of the default app. I'd like to get rid of its data. And I'd like to put all the Maemo Mapper data on my removable memory.

I guess I'm hoping for step-by-step how to instructions for each case, but I realize that's expecting a lot...
