Hi. Couple hours of cruising in internet and maemo talk, didn't bring the help to my problems. So I made this thread.

I tried to install Maemo5 SDK with these instructions.
http://maemo.org/development/sdks/ma...ion/#64install
I made those necessary moves to install Scratchbox and it didn't happen. After grub menu edit, grub update, reboot, run script with sudo and no dice. Install fails on 32bit architecture check and gives error:
Code:
Running on i386 architecture... no
E: Currently Scratcbox can only run in 32 bit i386 architecture.
Current build is Ubuntu 64bit Jaunty 2.6.28-15-generic
Any ideas where the setup has gone bad?
Or should I give up and install 32bit environment for SDK...

btw...there is mispelling in script error notification.

Yes, like mentioned in installation guide(+sudo sh):
Code:
$ sudo sh ./maemo-scratchbox-install_5.0beta2.sh –u myUSERname -F
Also Grub menu has this edited line on default options:
Code:
# kopt=root=UUID=a6a52f84-3f92-4898-96ba-d66c18a536c9 ro vdso32=0

Do you have a real user with this name? Or is this a fake one?

Try also moving -F in front of -u.

I used used real, but this was faked.
