Recently I lost the TV-Out cable that came with my N900. I tried to use a cable from my old N95 but this didn't work (I think the jack's were different sizes). Can anyone tell me which cable I need to buy (The model number maybe) so that I can buy one that will work with the N900?

The cable that came with your with N95 should work.

I have a spare as nowhere did it state that my n900 came with the TV-out cable so I ordered one from Ebay

If you are in the UK then you can have it for free

These cables are common for digital cameras and you can pick them up from any store that sells digi-cams.

any cables from N-series work with N900..I test with cable of N95 8GB and worked great..also test with cable of N82 and worked..

That's strange as EVERYWHERE I saw it mentioned it. Where were you looking?

I have several of those cables, only the original nokia one does work. must have an internal resistor or something which switches tv-out on.

Or is there a way to force TV-out to be on?

Vodaphones website in the whats included in the box section

I paid next to nothing for the spare cable, so wasnt too fussed in the end, and I think I actually have another one somewhere in the house too LOL
