I have a Request:

Can someone provide Instructions on How-to connect and Use a Wireless Mouse and Keyboard combo with the N900?

Tried it, USB light comes on, got an error message about file system not available.

Steps I followed:
  1. Installed HEN, ext-kb, ext-mouse, bt-hid-scripts2
  2. run 'show mouse cursor'
  3. run 'HEN' > high speed HM, VBUS boost on, enumerate, mount
  4. plug in USB stick receiver. light comes on, get error: file system not available.

Would appreciate nice, clear instructions, THANKS.

What does the wireless mouse/kbd run on? Bluetooth? Infrared? Wifi?

It sounds like the n900 is trying to mount the USB stick as a filesystem.

How I do it:
1. Show mouse
2. Connect receiver
3. Launch HEN > High speed, VBUS, Enumerate
Works for me. Might take a few tries (close HEN and redo step 3.)

No I don't as 'mount' is there only for storage devices such as an USB stick or an external hard disk.

Try clicking on the top bar and choose 'Kernel messages' see if there is anything like "no device connected" or "low/full speed device connected, but high speed chosen". Post the message log here.
