I have just upgraded my Vodafone contract for another 18months however it’s subject to me signing off the delivery for my new handset tomorrow.
The new handset is the Xperia Arc.
I’m now not sure whether I actually want to upgrade, but not sure I can turn UPS man away when he delivers the goods tomorrow
After looking at my decision in more detail, I’ve recognized the following….
Pros for upgrade…
• Nice new Android phone
• Keep existing number without any fuss
• New phone may be more reliable (ok will be more reliable than N900)
• Could sell it and make short term profit (moving house in a few weeks
Cons for upgrade…
• I don’t have a burning desire for a new handset, rather just upgrading for a shiny new toy
• I’m quite happy using N900 on Pay as you go sim and cancelling contract
• Could potentially save £40 per month
• Could wait till a phone I actually want comes out…(I.e. Samsung Galaxy S2, Meego Handset)
I got my girlfriend in one ear saying cancel contract
Any ideas?
I ain't gotta go all the way to Africa to know that something ain't right here...
