I don't see it on the Nokia USA site. I recall that with other updates there have been problems reported by using the non-US updates.

I was reading that it was a non-us update but if you put your n800 into your updater on your computer it will update no matter where you are.

My n800 I purchased here from a cell phone store here in Canada is from Europe, so if you thought for a moment that the US version will be any better if one is released then it will be because they have been busy fixing bugs and plan to let the "public" beta test it's so called European release.. since that way it's free by USING the public... and by the looks of things Nokia is using whatever free they can these days lol

I am in the US and have been trying to get the new update to work since they released with NO luck, it will not connect to ANY WIFI hot spot, I just installed the previous firmware and my N800 automatically connected to my work's Ad Hoc WLAN which it wouldn't even do that with new firmware. I have a feeling it may have something to do with US issue. Of course I may be wrong.

Actually, it probably has to do with the wlan timeout which was changed. Search the forums for those keywords.

I am in California, which many consider to be part of the US. It works fine for me.
