On what platform?

Documents to go from Dataviz on Maemo.
Payable version worked quite good, but have not tested it for years, think you can move your licence on to other devices later too.

Open office on Maemo with debian.

I'm also using the paid version of Documents To Go.
You get the free (view only) version from the Nokia Store, then upgrade.

You can't upgrade The company denies it ever knew anything about Maemo.
All you are left with is Mr Google or Mr Duckduckgo.

Maybe you could try textmaker from google play. Paid version works on jolla, though hard to use due to small screen.

FWIW, key for paid version is floating around Internets

There is also Abiword & Gnumeric on Maemo, and these should be work quite ok for most uses.

Whilst I don't mind people finding such solutions for themselves for products that the company itself stopped supporting, it is still software piracy and I don't think we should be supporting it openly like this. Please remove the link.

There is also FreOffice for Maemo based on KDE's former KOffice which claims to support DOC(X?) and ODF formats and can do some basic editing.
