The unsafe removal doesn't seem to have any bad effects that I've noticed, but I guess I could fry the hardware.
I use a MacBook Pro to connect via USB to the N800 which works fine. But when I eject the mounted volumes of the N800 from the Mac, they are automatically remounted! Thus there is no way to 'safely' remove the device, and I get a warning from Mac OS X to that effect. Any idea? Thanks!
