I just found a port (open source) of Syndicate Wars.

Syndicate Wars was never released for the Amiga (unfortunately, only thing that made me jealous of PC owning friends).

However I think the original poster may have been referring to FreeSynd which is an open source port of Syndicate not Syndicate Wars. I couldn't find any info on an open source Syndicate Wars port.

If you do wish to play Syndicate Wars then I'd imagine dosbox would probably do the job.

What's the title of the movie you linked to?

EDIT:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syndicate_Wars

Third game, so, not the same that was released for the Amiga 500.

Syndicate and Syndicate Wars are two different games.

Syndicate Wars only came out for Dos and Playstation. Though it's now listed for Playstation 3 and PSP, probably through emulating the Playstation 1.

Last I checked (admittedly a while ago) FreeSynd wasn't anywhere near playable. I'm installing it in Arch Linux now to see where it's at.

I love the game, but was pissed when I beat it! Anyhow, it is an awesome game and I've never beaten Syndicate Wars (though still have my original CD)
