I've been thinking about getting an N900 and using SIP as my primary method of making and receiving calls, but I have a question: Is it possible to use the bluetooth hands-free device built-into my car to make calls over SIP?

What I'm asking about is making SIP calls default instead of "regular" cell phone calls.

its possible, I am using it "sometimes" but when you are out of the 3g signal you are out of luck.

since when you are a car you are typically could bounce between the 2g and 3g, ouchhh.,..

I use SIP or Skype over wifi - I have the Sprint Mifi.
There is no problem if I use SIP or bluetooth separately.

But if I use bt and sip together, no sip/skype call can last more than 3-4 minutes.

This symptom does not happen when using bt over a standard cellular call.
