How could I open m4b files (audiobooks for examples - no DRM)?

Thanks

As far as I know, you can't. You'll have to move them over to mp3.

I found out that you are in fact able to play m4b files - with mplayer (with kmplayer frontend or not) but I haven't yet found autoresuming front end for that. So you either need to do that with slider or with -ss hh:mm:ss command switch for mplayer:

mplayer audiobook.m4b -ss 4:00:00 will start playing from 4h sharp.

It shouldn't be hard for someone to do autoresume though. I would additionaly appreciate quick pause on cam/power button and hidden stop/previous/next buttons. It is SUPER annoying to try to find the spot where you were from 15h audiobook.

I have discovered that Panucci plays m4b files if you change the extension to m4a. But some of my m4b files are hugely big, and panucci doesn't seem to like that at all.
