Hi, I'm new here .
few month ago my N900 was dropped into the water(just a little water on the ground maybe 3 or 4 millimeters) and after turning it on, everything was good except Sim section (the error below). so after a week when i rebooted the device it was all ok and Sim worked fine ! but again after a month it gave me the error again. and it it goes ok in few days.

this sentences repeated until i finally gave up and sent it for repair to
some unauthorized Nokia repair service and they told me you have to pay about $50 for RPL Request from Nokia because of no IMEI in the phone !
Is this anything to do with the RPL ?
