Please don't shoot me as I'm not whining, just asking.....

Would like to install if possible the following if they're available for N900:

- Spreadsheet app

- ereader app - that can read commercially sold books.

Ereader app from ereader.com is available for Symbian, Linux, etc, but not for maemo....

- GTD (Task Mgmnt..)

Would be great to something beyond a simple ToDo List app, ie, an app that would allow tagging of items ala GTD system

For example, I've been using apps such as:

Mac/PC/Linux - ThinkingRock

PC - FusionDesk

Mac - TheHitList....

If any of these available, would appreciate a pointer to where I can get them....

Thanks!

Mark

Thanks for the suggestion....

Hmmm....didn't see it in the App Manager listing, unless I just overlooked it....will look again or I guess check it online...

Meanwhile, just realized that I have OpenOffice installed, forgot about that.... so, do have at least one spreadsheet option installed...

Thanks for your suggestions...I do have easydebian installed....and have fbreader installed already, just looking to see if there's some other options similar to ereader's app that allows for reading commercially bought books....

ereader.com does have Symbian and Linux versions, but no maemo version....maybe if enough of us who are interested in this option were to email ereader and request it, maybe they'd release a version for us???

Personally, I prefer formats where I can remove the DRM and use it on any platform. Do some Google Fu and you can find some of those candidates.

If you are waiting for someone to port a reader that supports DRM, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I agree with you and that's why I do have fbreader installe...

However, I do have a bunch of books that I purchased some time ago that would be nice to have option to read on N900...

I'm not....

I fully realize that it would take A LOT of emails to vendors in order to get them to port something...

Thanks...

UPDATE

Just edited first post to include request for any good task management apps ala ThinkingRock, Things, TheHitList, OmniFocus, FusionDesk, etc, that let you do more than a simple ToDo list and more of a GTD approach; tagging, contexts, etc...

Any suggestions?

I didn't find it for the N900 either. Used it on my N800, though. Is it really ported?
