Long Long Time Ago, Linux OS make boring things with Required Depends Packages.

Today i Try to install some Application and it'said ..
Require Packages is not installed ... i following download one more..
and it said again .... more and more .... so boring.

I think this is BIG PROBLEM is make new Maemo and Meego users to eggy and changrin.

Looking and compare with Apple App Store and Android Market NOKIA and INTEL would to change something and do it on Ovi Store?

Do you understand why there is dependencies and why they might be good or bad?

Also you might have bought wrong device :|

Yes, sometime i thing... maybe i'm bought wrong device!!.
But i'm use only Nokia Mobile for 15 years. Last one is N97 ... maybe i try new Android Mobile soon.

So basically you are "complaining" what whole system is in it´s heart. Sorry to ruin your fun but that´s probably the good & bad thing about whole system. You can find endlessly discussions about "lego" structure of different linux systems.

I just find it somehow funny that you say "boring". Sad if that´s how you feel it but in the end Why should anyone here care that you feel it boring? Btw. Like to know why my stomach is aching right now. I find it highly interesting.

Please do not compare Extras to Store.

Extras is a normal Debian repository with its dependency chain.
With Ovi Store you're not allowed to use dependencies that are not delivered with firmware.

So, your Store/Market analogy is plain wrong.

I'm not Compared Maemo-Extas with Store/Market.
I think, maybe NOKIA should promote some good applications to Free Application on Ovi Store.

!! and...Maemo-Extas is only one place normal users (without experienced and related Linux OS) can find an Applications !!
