ok, here`s the deal guys....
last night i slided the cover of the camera to take a pic, the camera tried to load, but after 3 secs it said operation failed, i restarted... turn off.. everything but nothing...
i tried with other camera apps (fcam, bless n900) all the same thing, then i tried to turn on the flashlight with the but it says impossible camera in use by another app.....
i dont know wtf? happened... but the last things i installed rootsh i think .... is weird too because if i click on the camera icon the program stars with no problem but when i open the cover it "crashes" and the app closes! ..
HELP , guys i know you ' ll know something

As root in an x-term:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Depending on when you updated last, this will install a newer version of fcam which corrects the crashing camera problem.

If dchky's advice does not work try turning off, remove battery , replace and then turn on.

do you happen to have power-kernel v45/v46 installed?that might explain the camera issue..

reinstalling the fcam drivers might solve the problem

download the package here, save to MyDocs

http://n900.tannerlab.com/kernel/fca....7-1_armel.deb

then in xterm,
Code:
cd /home/user/MyDocs
dpkg -i fcam-drivers_1.0.7-1_armel.deb
then reboot..
