Hi,

My nokia N900 won't start up. Its starts normally like it used to do with a short nokia screen and then starts loading after a few seconds it gives 2 orange flashes continued by a green flash and then it continues loading but it stays that way for well.... forever

I've already tried to flash it with succes but it doesn't change anything...

Can somebody please help?

Thanks

did you try to flash the emmc too?
http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_t...MC_in_the_N900

so first flash the emmc, then flash the firmware again.
but be aware that flashing the emmc will delete all of your stuff in the memory.

Hi Joel i have the same issue, after the lights (two red one green) the load bar work like 4 seconds and the the phone appears to be shut down or something like that because if you connect it to the PC, you can access the storage (the phone and the 16GB memory).

i dont know if the problem is the battery or the USB port in the phone.

Any ideas or work around? did you take it to customer service?

Thanks

Can you please provide more information and exact steps, step by step? Like which Operating System this is about, when you do what, what command you use etc?

Sorry for the delay but i was on a time consuming SAP implementation.

i resolve all my problems re installing the firmware

RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

************************************************** ******************************

It appears that the Maemo Os get corrupted when my phone shut down incorrectly by the battery run out.

you can see on the images below that the OS try to start and something happends, it get stuck forever like i show in the image number 3.

if you connect the phone on you windows or Linux machine you can see the N900 like a mass storage device, image 4.

I was hopping make a fsck on the OS so i connect the N900 to my TV but not succeed with theTV out.

With no more options i reflash it (last image) and the n900 revive and is kicking again !!!!!

Thanks all
