1. Do you have the same problem when you do those same tests with n900 on wifi?
2. Is it possible for you to tether the n900 to a regular PC / laptop? If yes, is the PC able to successfully make calls?
If the answer to (1) is "no", it means the problem is most likely with your carrier - providing a 3G frequency does not imply providing 3G speeds.
If the answer to (1) is "yes" or if the answer to (2) is "yes", then one possible conclusion is that your n900 is not capable of the processing power required for maintaining a good voip sound quality and 3G at the same time.
This does not mean your n900 is defective - it is quite possible that you have some application on your n900 that is hogging the CPU or memory.
Many people here (including me) have successfully carried out voip communication over 3G.
More debugging will be required in this case.
i) if i call from gtalk to gtalk(fring)recipient cant hear me. but if call to gtalk(pc) recipient can hear me but it very slow and after 1/2 mins it drops.
ii) if i call from skype to skype(pc) after 1/2 mins it drops and also too slow.
iii) if i call from sip to any mobile no recipient sometimes can hear me sometimes not.
iv)internet speed drops always even 0. it happens after few mins.
v) using maxis 3G network excellent.
vi) GSM /normal call is ok.
vi) updated to latest version
vii) I already re flashed the phone
viii) heard reset done.
ix) tried by changing kernel
x) power saving mode off
help me plz..............
