i got he follow error msg when using xterm to up date
sudo gainroot
apt-get update

do you enter this as root?
sudo gainroot

just looked and my problem is different??
That's just a warning, so you can just ignore that. If you want to get rid of it then you'll need to track down the GPG key for the Mozilla repository and import it to your N900 - see here for what I found last time I looked at this.

Sorry, I'd missed that. No, it won't have anything to do with disabling the -devel and/or -testing repositories. No idea why you're getting it though - that key should be available (if not installed by default). Could it be related to this bug?

all i can think is i've just done a restore and extended contacts didn't install so i've uninstalled it in file mngr and re-installed properly this time, i will look at that link you've put up, cheers.
just read the post sounds exactly whats happened to me cheers again
