Cable instead of dsl?

I think dsl quality depends on how close you are to certain devices.

I'm thinking about getting time warner bundle cause i heard thats pretty fast, but i really don't watch too much tv. I watch all my tv and movies online, but that's also why i need faster internet. So that i can watch all my tv shows and movies online.

Most of my local friends have Comcast Cable. Its pretty reliable, I have had bad experiences with SBC DSL slow connections (a DSL given), and plenty of irritating outings because of various reasons maintenance and what not.

Comcast Cable is pricey up here is my certain location because there is no cable competition where i live so its bad, but alright. Holidays suck because everyone is on our Cable group (You know how we all have a cable box that connects several houses) so bandwidth is somewhat stretched. I can't wait till I can get a Fiber Line from Version.

PS I got caught for bittorrenting Q3A, so advice - darknet it all, or get on a private torrent site. and BY NO MEANS UPLOAD COPYRIGHTED DATA FOR PUBLIC ACCESS.

Verizon FIOS has been the best for me. Earthlink DSL was good when I first got it, then slowly deteriorated.

I usually don't use torrents, mainly because I hate the wait. I mainly use sites like Fox on Demand or I use Alluc.org, both of which help me get movies and tv episodes. If both don't work, I usually try a search on tudou.com or 56.com which sometimes work, but yea I've been steering clear from limewire, ares, frostwire, and other stuff like that.

P.S.
For all my music i useZamzar which enables me to convert a music video from youtube to an mp3 which is e-mailed. Bit of a hassle though.
