Hi
When I'm playing audio via vlc media player, in the start I've got some crackle. It dissappears later, but it?
On windows - crackle only with loud signals in the start. On Linux - in the start it stops 1-3 times, and after that everything ok.
What can I do?
It happens also with old recordings from 1980s as well with the new recordings

Have you tried other media players apart from just VLC? It might be the audio codecs used by VLC versus the rest that might be the issue.

via windows KMPlayer there's no crackle. But I let the VLC use the system codecs. Without success, crackle still persists

In VLC advanced options try to raise the cache (ms) value.
It's under input/access modules.
If you have this problem with audio files raise the value for the "File" module.
