I've been noticing some strange behavior going on with my N800 recently. For long stretches of time, subjectively long anyhow at 5-30 seconds, the system becomes unresponsive. Since that shouldn't (should it?) be happening, I started doing some digging with xterm to see what was going on. And the subject says it... the problem is PDFlush. It jumps to over 90% usage for those stretches.
Anyone have any ideas why this would be happening? I'm not really overloading my system.. typically this happens when I'm running Pidgin and trying to view a video in Canola, but it can also happen if Pidgin is running and I do a little surfing.

So any and all input would be appreciated!
