does anyone know how to avoid sound skipping when another process uses too much cpu?
I think it's because the ALSA buffer is too small (1024 samples), and I found no way of modifying it.
I constantly pool in a separate thread to see when it to feed new data, but i get some skipping whenever the cpu does smth else.
I write an old school mp3 player, and i currently have this problem.
