well if you are asking for HTC one then to be honest i didn't like it , i mean i dont like having lots of widgets on one desktop.
you can use Omweather widget and digi clock widget for time.

okay guys this is what i(being a noob) have done so far :P
i know there is a proper thread to show off but as the title mentioning , it's for noobs :P
so feel free to post your work here too to help others to get some idea .

just simple install Omweather widget it has city name with it .

hi guys .... do you happen to know the command to connect to my saved home wifi net? and also a command for a nice weather widget for qbw?

well i will recommend to use connectnow to use the saved home wifi .
and omweather is good too man , try !

yeah dude but i want to be able to put the commands in qbw so i can complete my potrait desktop!

ok so i managed to get the commands for the net... if you dont know here is the link.http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control#...ved_connection

its quite easy to do , and brings me 1 step closer to my dream portrait homescreen!

now if i could only get a nice weather script for my homescreen! oh! and a nice media player that works in portrait and im done!

lol one step closer for me to be able to throw my fist in the air while "dont you forget about me" is playing in the background!
