so basically i dropped my n900 i just want to know step by step what i need to do and i need some websites that sell cheap parts. the phone works fully i can use the touch screen but it is cracked and only half of it works so what should i do?

use tv out cable and see if it works properly.. if it is working properly then backup your data using open ssh and then think of repair ( i dont know any site name which sells part or some thing)

just check if the touch panel is working mine has a crak i did not change it because it works fine and its expansive for the little crack.

well i dont know .. but if i were you i would have backup my data only, and leave hardware to nokia care and let them check!

i have been there and it sucks....
nothing much u can do....
nokia care....6000 rs in India for a new display...

and get a pouch for your mobile....hardly costs 400 rs

It's the only place where you can find original touch displays. Don't buy on ebay there are no good digitisers at all.

I have two digitisers from ebay both with same problems: front camera and proximity sensor do not work because their window is not transparent enough. Only item from thenokiaparts.com allowed to restore device.
