I just moved to Erming-NG (such these forums for the URL). Rock solid, free, syncs as many google cals as you like to as many N900 as you want, both directions or just one.
    Awesome.

    Awesome.
When I tried Erminig a few weeks ago it screwed up my google calendar. I understand there were some dev activities since then, so I tried it again this weekend. Did not screw up google calendar, but every complex repeat is shown one day off on mt N900. Not really usable for me.

I think it's great when developers volunteer their time and try to resolve a problem that should have been addressed by Nokia months ago. Well, but we all know about Nokia's support for the N900...

    Hello

I have a partially working setup that takes minimum amount of pain to achieve.

I use erminig to sync the calendars that I try to keep recurring event free. Then I use MfE for contacts and that one calendar that has recurring events etc.

The problem ofcourse is that I would need another MfE account. I need it because my work calendar and contacts are in an Microsoft Exchange Server...

    The pain list:

Every now and then I need to remove my MfE synced calendar and all the contacts when MfE decides to break syncronization. Then re-enable the syncing of calendar and addressbook in MfE and do a complete resync.

I have to run Erminig-ng by hand as I have never seen it sync automaticly eventhough it is setup to do so. When running by hand its dialogs for syncing local events etc jump in front to bother me. This happens eventhough I am using another program and trying to let it do its job in the background.

SyncEvolution also had bugs that made my about 600 contacts sync for a few hours and I ended up in a partly altered addressbook in Google.

SynceEvolution and Erminig-ng were supposed to save me from using MfE with google. But still it seems that they need a bit of work to be finalized enough to help maintain these painful situations.

Well of to report bugs and help with testing. I do hope we get these fixed for us and then Meego also when it comes.

Nice work though for those of you who have made this possible. Thanks dudes.

For me, the reverse is true: if I also sync contacts it fails. This worked OK until last month, go figure....

I tried SyncEvolution but that synced 75 contacts of my 400, throwing the rest off my n900 (thanks alot crap)

Apart from that: I have my country and language settings differently, because I want it to know I'm in Belgium, but I do like the interface in English... But this never was a problem for calendar sync.
