i wanna backup all applications, messages, settings, contacts and files. i want my phone just the way it was before flashing, what should i do/

1) read the thread (it helps).

2) use backupmenu to backup rootfs and opt
3) use built-in backup to backup settings and stuff
4) use ctrl+c/ctrl+v on any pc in mass storage mode to backup MyDocs (the folder that appear when you browse your phone either from the phone or from the pc)

to recover, then:
1) Paste back your files from pc
2) Restore built-in backup, but you don't need to do the reinstallation step
3) use backupmenu to get all your apps back.

Of course, don't forget to store your backup files (from built-in and backupmenu) on the pc...

with OVI SUITE 3.0184 you can BACKUP:

contacts, ALL MESSAGES, music, notes etc.! with the built-in BACKUP-manager you can back-up ALL YOUR APPS
