I'm just waiting for Darius2006 to create his next fictional crisis-of-the-moment. But he'll probably start a new thread for it.

Hey Reggie, instead of locking this thread, can you move it to Off Topic so we can slug it out some more (until it degenerates into name calling?) Seriously, we've all been pretty good about not name calling and getting *completely* stupid.

AFAIK, Your input is exactly off-topic.

Do something right and go to maemo.org and ask Nokia
why N770 applications are no more maintained, i.e. supported by Nokia, i.e. at maemo.org N770 package installs have been removed.

Just one, simple answer is what I need.

Look for great Nokia 7700, Nokia 7710 touch screen smartphones made by Nokia.

We also had the letter N but Grandpa had to sell it to IBM.
I'm told it had something to do with helping him pay legal expenses he accumulated defending the letter Q from a hostile take over by some company that glued balls of cotton on the ends of little sticks.

No, this can be more annoying. You still can't avoid seeing threads created by him in 'new posts' and otherwise bear the traffic around his posts (like seeing replies, quoted posts etc.). And then you even can't enjoy some of his masterpieces when you are bored :-) Still I added him to my ignore list to test how this stuff works (never used it so far).

I think that 'No thanks button' idea can be useful. People who don't know such person yet wouldn't waste time arguing and replying to posts that don't look completely stupid from the beginning but get worse sooner or later.

Even better, can we vote someone off the island?
