Ok then have you got any idea to make you see
for now you need to trust me casue i have a lot of friends did those tweaks and had a great results
and you can ask someone tried them in this thread
and the attention to my post heh this is even my first post in my whole life
idk how to bring attention to it
BTW i may do a youtube video but youtube is blocked in my country so i will have to do with a proxy or vpn
but not at the main time
A very simple bench mark could be something like:
Code:
echo "2^2^20" | time bc
(you'll need to install 'bc' from the repos). It makes the CPU calculate a big sum. It will give you a few timing values at the end - these can be used to compare before and after results.
And you can enable smart reflex with the default profile wich will give you 2x time of usage (byt becarefull not to overcloak n900 over than 805 mhz when using smart reflex)
What does smartreflex? Can someone confirm not to overclock more than 805 mhz with this? I have mine always at 1000 mhz.

Hold on a sec after i restored orginal swaps and disabled the hardware accel only i got this result

I lowered my speed to 750 mhz just to try out smartreflex, which does seem to conserve power, making the battery last longer. Just for you, I increased the speed. The moment I went beyond 805 I rebooted.
