EVERYONE KNOWS that the n900 doesnt shoot xrays out of its screen...
.... it SHOOTS LIGHTING out of its USB port you dumb n00b - get it right !
Why do you get so offended by his question? And what's with the agressive response. So now your dumb if you're a noob. Do you know his age? Do you know for a fact that this guy knows how xray works?
He asked a simple question, what about a simple answer without demeaning him.
And whom are you to judge wich question are dumb and wich is not and I know for a fact that you too was a noob at one point and obviously you lack tolerance and people skills.

Yes it's true that people will believe anything, and i know the feeling of just wanting to flame the person, but this doesn't help, we where all noob's at some point, and we where probably naive at some point to believe all sorts of crap
And so what that people will believe anything does that give you the right to demean them?
Clearly you don't see my point.
You're the type that makes 'dumb' people not ask question cause of responses like this. Yes it's obvious (to me) that it's a trick app , but if you don't know how xray works, then why not on the N900.
Are you guys r3tarded? of course its real. The screen emits low level omicron radiation in the theta band. Thusly the pixels can be used to detect said emmissions.
I played with the app a bit, while being suspicious I thought I would entertain the idea. Maybe its not cosmic rays (well those would mess up your DNA would they not?) but still I could fathom some EM field coming from the screen that may penetrate non mental parts of the phone.
Anyhow after recognizing the wire for the headphone jack I simply plugged something in to see if that showed up in the image. It did not, so its not a live image. Maybe doing an experiment yourself is a better learning experience that talking to know-it-alls on here.
