Well if it's enough, we need a Developer... Come on Guys...

Amazing... Now we know why the open-source universe is so limited....

    Not enough money...
    Not enough support....

Interesting application! I'm doing myself application for routing problems but for other ( harder ) problems.

AFAIK this app is more a social app then a routing problem app. IMO from what I've read its just recording the users position and speed and gathering it in a central database where everyone can get an account.

Maybe they use the harvesine formula to find some users.
Unfortunatley it's not explainend very well and there isn't an API documentation although it is open source at least the source is available.

About the source: I'm not very good in C and also I know little of Linux / Maemo but it is good that it is in C. But a big problem would be to port the screen functions because Android don't use X-Server.

    That's just my opinion.

Adding $10 for a complete working version in the repo's!

Someone, preferably OP, should develop some guidelines and keep track. Really into this way of encouraging!

I looked at it and i managed to build libguiroadmap.a libroadmap.a on linux using a few fixes ...

    http://waze.s3.amazonaws.com/src/waz...an_src_2.0.zip

Doesnt the project use a scm ? if not i can setup a repo, but i wont have more time to commit a single patch "waze_wm_symbian_src_2.0~rzr1.diff" ...

Send me a N9x0 and I promise i will look at it deeper
