I'm curious if this supports MSN's custom emoticons. I know pidgin doesn't, so if jablet does, it'll definitely persuade me to use it (once I get an n800, anyway).

Jablet supports avatar/buddy icons, right? I did some searching and I believe OpenFire does, but I'd like confirmation anyway. =D

    Thanks

I don't believe the Jabber client for the tablets supports custom emoticons. It's not something that Jablet can fix either.

We do support custom avatars, however there appears to be a bug in the current code that doesn't pull down other people's avatars very often.

Also, we've started accepting donations, so those of you that asked about this earlier in the thread, just head on over to our homepage @ jablet.net and click the donate button.

    Thanks for all the encouragement.

    Jay!

Every time i connect to jablet.org using PSI i get a warning about some self-signed certificate. Is that a setting in the server or in PSI?

    Ton.

All I have is a self-signed certificate and it costs money to get a real signed certificate, and it's somewhat expensive. I believe there's a setting in PSI to allow you to ignore the error. (Sorry about being so late about responding. I saw your post on Jablet, but just didn't have time to respond at that point.)

Found the setting. Ignore SSL errors.

    Thanks,

Probably a setting you are missing. Send me a PM with your settings for the account and we'll look them over. (Don't forget to send those under Advanced as well.)
