No matter how long it stays charging it stays with the blinking yellow.

I've installed led patterns app and uninstalled a few days after but i still got the green led working after few days untill this started to happen.

Any one with the same problem, or better, a solution?

thx in advance

I would guess a bad circuit in your battery?? What's the % of the battery when you unplug the charger? If it's "full" it should be around 93%. One of the many N900 quirks

I don't know much of the inner workings of the device, but that to me sounds like a faulty battery. I bought a cheap (used) one off ebay once and it did the same.

well when I unplug the battery % drops to 0. if i restart the phone, it goes to 81%

the battery is the original one that came with the phone... you think that if I buy a new battery this will be fixed automaticly?

After you restart the phone, does it charge again?

Do you use USB by any chance?

Do you use a non-Nokia charger?

Do you have Advanced Power installed?

Install battery-eye and screen-shot the charging process (Ctrl+shift+p) and attach it here.

it's always saying that its charging when it is plugged.. when I unplug it, it shows a red battery, the restart only helps to get the battery almost full. if I plug it in again, the same thing will happen.

I only charge it with an oficial nokia charger. usb very rarely..

yes advanced power is installed.

and... how do I paste the print screen? ( I noticed that 100% is never reached.. 90 tops...)

Remove advanced power and all associated packages, try again. Advanced power is known to mess with feedback in some configurations.

To paste print screen, share it to a service, mail to yourself or transfer by any other means and when posting press attach.

Or post from the phone and, when pressing attach, browse for the image. It is saved in a folder called screenshots inside images.

After removing AP, try again, then paste new screen if it still does that.
