Just wondering wtf? I went to o2 shop I had a guarantee for it and the guy in the shop said it can't be fixed.. He said the only thing is I can do is - send it to nokia factory and if they see that its the phone problem... I could get a brand new n900..
Ahh fek it ..
I thought chinese guy will fix it so I went to the shop where the chinese guys fix the phones.. An he said I might fix it ,but he couldnt..
Is it realy so hard.??. Wtf I checked some threads and there are people who fix this problem them selves...
Im in Dublin.. Maybe u know how to solve this problem..
I got told it couldn't be fixed and wasn't covered by warranty so I printed off a page from Nokia forum which says its a manufacturing fault and they agreed to fix it. Didn't get a new phone though, just a new main board.
SO!!
If I wud send my phone to nokia.. they would fix it for free if I still have warantee.
Also pictures videos and contacts probraly would be gone after the phone is fixed..
Is there anything I can do to save them or backup etc..
See the problem is I cant connect the phone to PC no USB port .. ;(
Backup to your MicroSD, take it out, send the phone off, when it returns, put in the MicroSD and restore...
Try the BackupMenu app (can't remember if it is in devel repository or not, if it is USUAL WARNINGS APPLY)

OK... go to your local electrical retailer, camera shop or even supermarket and have a look at them in there. A 4Gb MicroSD will cost £10/€15 maybe?. Whether you choose to buy depends how much your data is worth to you.
Hang on... you are in Dublin? Try PCWorld / Argos / Toys'R'Us / Peats / Maplins / Tesco etc etc etc
Any standard MicroSD will do, it does not need to be a special one for the N900
