I'm testing it on 3g atm, and I can report that it works very well. Seeking through the video is very fast, and I haven't experienced any buffering issues.
Does that mean S^3 version is just around the corner? Please, say 'Yes'

Yes. Everything else is finished. The only thing holding back the Symbian version is the lack of video playback (the stock Symbian player proved unusable for streaming).

    Some screenshots:

Version 0.8.3 should be in extras-devel soon. Changelog:

    * New and sleek 'night' theme.
    * Re-factored UI code to improve performance.

The re-factoring involved removing unnecessary painting of rectangles etc, which reduces overhead, but I don't think there is any noticable difference to the end user.

When compared to FAPman scrolling something is bit fck up in Qt. I have CSSU installed and since Cutetube-QML has behaved differently and it doesnīt react to any changes to scrolling settings or load more content :| It accelerates bit randomly sometimes. It feels that sometimes it registers flick speed differently or is too sensitive. It should accelerate its speed gradually when you are flicking more and more, but to me it just sometimes jumps to hyper speed. Probably something to do with Qt version with cssu or maybe just fundamentally Qt isnīt optimized as it should for flicking on resistive screen.

Well point being: IMO copy paste 1:1 fapman scolling and you have winner.

I have a login-problem to Youtube, search is fine - it is cute.
The login problem may be related to being already logged in on another device.
    Congratulations!

This app is just beautiful, and I thought the old CuteTube was good! It is smooth, works like a charm and has great eye candy. An absolute must for the N900! We will prevail!! haha

    THANKS! Happy Friday
