hi, i followed step by step except that multiboot thingy because i dont got that on my phone yet .... everything worked well but when i try to start faircrack from my desktop it keeps closing itself over and over again. would be nice if someone could explain what i've did probably wrong.
Same problem here. Everything /instaltion/ went good. But when I try to open faircreck by clicking the icon...program closes down itself after 3 seconds.
I had it installed before and didnt have this problem. Not really sure what is the problem now.
Another question is about power kernel 47. Does faircrack work with it?
I've used faircrack on my v47 kernel and it seems to be working, although I haven't got as far as injecting packets yet. What I will say though is that it absolutely HAMMERS my battery. My phone was red-hot and the battery went from full to red in under 4 hours whilst sniffing a nearby signal. Even when I disabled injection and monitor modes it was still eating it faster than normal. This was on normal profile, no overclocking or undervolting at all.
FRuMMaGe - i got a couple of questions which i have not found answers:
why is my injection buttons both enable at all times?
how do i install dictionaries?

there nothing wrong about both injection button enable all the times....if you have install macchanger then you can use injection button (disable) to auto change the mac address....
as for dictionaries you put it on this path....
FAS/diction
there a many dictionaries out there & the best is at 33Gb but sadly it wont fit our beloved n900 due to sized...
but you can download smaller sized or created/edit the dictionaries by putting any word/password you like & save it/compress it as .tar...
my expriences...using John is far more better than dictionaries....
