Just run through the install instructions again, removing the packages if required. It's not safe to just add the repo.
I couldn't uninstall for some reason, and I couldn't manually add the repos because of the PGP-keys they required (got 403 forbidden trying to use them straight off)
In the end, I clicked the "install testing" link from the Wiki and that got the repo back. Now I see the update but I still can't install it with 55Mb rootfs free. Grrr...
I am uninstalling loads of apps until it lets me update. Much preferable to a reflash imho as it forces me to do clear out of apps I hardly ever use or don't use at all.
seems that the modest constantly crashes and i still have to go back to using the modest fix that was released some time ago. will this ever be integrated to make modest no crash so much and to only sync 1 time make it work faster?
Call me an idiot, I still don't get your problem. You can select 9 desktops. You want 8. You enable 8 desktops. There is one disabled. How is this a bug? Knowing there is 1 unused desktop makes you a sad panda? Why should it be "fixed" to 8, if there are other people that want to use 9? If you don't use the FM transmitter should it be disabled for everyone?

Ok, well, i don't demand anything, it was more a suggestion..
Because i read here somewhere that some people having trouble to find/make loopable wallpapers for 9 desktops. Also how many people are really using all 9 desktops?So my thought was, set max at 8 then the "standard" wallpaper sets will fit as loopable, and it looks as factory default when sellecting a wallpaper There no desktop "left over".
As said, it was only a suggestion, (i can live with select only 8 of 9)
But is it possible to set max at 8? If yes how do i do that?

Kernel version 3.0 is out. Hopefully one day we can have such latest kernel on our device http://kernel.org/
If you read about it you will find out that the change of the name donīt have so much to do with features. So this post is the same as I could wrote that 2.6.39 is out. (3.0 is a rc btw). Also, I donīt think that stuff related to the kenel have anything to do with the CSSU, maybe kernel power.
