Hi,

I have a problem with my email client. It used to work perfectly, but ever since I had to format my N900, it hasn't. With the reformat, I obviously lost all my settings and data, and had to configure my Gmail client from scratch. It just doesn't work anymore! It fetches email from years 2008-2009, but NO new email (which means I have to delete the 400+ messages it erratically decides to fetch). I can, however, send email.

And now it just fetched me 256 emails from years 2009-2010. I guess we're slowly working through my backlog?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

It will attempt to retrieve all your old mail in your inbox.

Solution is to use the Gmail web interface and 'archive' all your inbox mail, so your inbox will end up empty but you'll still have access to your old mail under "All Mail".

Hi, thanks for your help! Unfortunately, as I did that, it's now not fetching any of my old OR new mail. It fetched old mail up to February this year, and then stopped. Egh. Any ideas?
