You can only mess with the stock market like this once. If he is, nobody will ever listen to him again. As opposed to now, when half doesn't listen to him because they don't like him.

I'm right. And yes, it's out in the wild. I'm a Mac user, the update hit today to avoid that.

I really don't understand why people feel so happy everytime some rumors goes round about malware on mac.
No rumor. It's all real.

It makes me happy because it somehow settles the "Only windows get viruses" debate. The "If you are a mainstream OS you get viruses" answer is so much more likely.
But I'm actually sad for any victim, whatever its system is.

The "If you are a mainstream OS you get viruses" is not most likely. It has nothing to do with security through obscurity. It does has to do in big part by the design of the OS.

Even if your system was wide open for attacks, but only 1% of the net users used it, and if someone did want to write a worm for it, chances are that it'd still be hard to get it distributed. You've gotta, like, find one of them machines to be able to infect it.

Also, whoever writes them virii must really want to go for that specific group to pick a 1% segment.

This is simple logic and says nothing about Mac security, market share or virus availability, which I don't care to go into detail on since that's a fight without logic and facts.
