I guess no one found the key eh?
Add white-mode=true under [main]
This is just a basic implementation and imo, doesn't look good since hildon's themes use a black background instead of transparency.
I agree, as I have said. The black theme harmonizes with the whole Maemo 5 OS. The white background just would like to be as his cousins from other systems.
However, I think people have modified themes on the OS and a white Sociality could harmonize better with them.
white mode is fairly ugly, however i do agree that the colours of the UI could use some work to make it look a bit more official. I think the native facebook colours ought to do the trick.

Yeah true, white mode might be fairly ugly, but what the heck, its an *easter egg*. So what do you expect? This means its by no means a polished UI layout...
But I agree, from my point of view its the white and blueish layout we need in order to get a "professional" looking FB app. Just look at the mock-ups provided earlier in this thread (mostly by zeiki). From my (non-developer) perspective its mostly about moving around and aligning some objects and giving the buttons a more aligned layout to get a decent looking app...To me, it doesnīt even matter wheter its is QML, C++ or whatever, as long as it works, has all required features and looks cool
I also think the app does not need to be harmonized with Maemo OS. Why should it? There are a couple awesome apps that donīt and I love using them (QMLtube, Tweet Suit, Instinctive) because they look cool and do a perfect job. I donīt care if for example the Maemo top bar is kept, but why donīt go all the way having a neatly designed app and just ignoring the "default Maemo design"?
But in the end its MAGs app, so he decides if he wants to complete it first feature-wise and polish it afterwards, or the other way around or whatever in between and how far he wants to go regarding features and layout...
Personally I trust in MAG that he will give us a breathtaking FB app in the end
MAG, you already asked for support regarding UI design/layout. Have the provided mock-ups been helpful or do you want to go in another direction? Do you want more support? Where? Can you give some directions?
Well, for now I attached some suggestions for new app icons...
K, enough said about UI and design .
Feature-wise, I think there was enough requested to work on for now. Only one thing:
Still hoping for a FB search feature (searching for people etc.)...
