Just doesn't make sense why so many 'employees' are seemingly sticking their necks out in this thread.
There's only a few, not "so many", and they stick their necks out because of all the begging, complaining, and doubt made by the kids that have unrealistic expectations. I don't really think it's a good idea, leaking anything, but the best thing we can do is not make a big deal about it and hope it goes unnoticed.

Edit: Btw, a few days ago somebody said (i think it was zeh) that the device will have a special display. so you will not miss hw qwerty keyboard. Were there any new info about that technology?
yes, it was zeh, i also mentioned it at his site, but at the moment we dont have any informations regarding this
my guess is TouchSense (from Immersion) which would provide a tactile feedback...
and if we have THE device of the year, maybe complete body incl. the display will be "diamond-coated"...

thx ok, but not all HDMI comes with CEC. It is extreamly useful if you have a short HDMI cable and just releaxing in the sofa...far away from the phone.
I don't want to promote other phones in this thread. But this is how i want it. If not, HDMI is not usful for real. Hope for the best, plan for the rest. It will at least have USB-OTG wich most other phones dont have. Very nice feature indeed.

just to clarify: I'm not employed by Nokia. I could leak everything I know without any big consequences. I just would loose my name and reputation inside Nokia and this is it not worth.

Well, it's possible they can be fed wrong info if someone suspects they are a leak. That's why I don't think they should share anything, even if it seems safe. But so far there is no contradictions and arguments, and no specs being leaked "too good to be true" so I find it easy to believe. I hope we get the official announcement soon, that should mean the actual device is close at hand. I'm more worried about the state of the OS and what we can modify and install than the hardware.

Funny but I don't think that's what he meant... Actually I wonder what zehjotkah's job is, did you ever say? But I would think he has some "friends" @ nokia after hanging out here for 4 years, going to conferences, and running the coding competition a few times.

I wanted to have the device in my hands in late 2010, and now we "know" that we will only have it on September 2011. That's too much waiting for me. I was amazingly excited when I saw the N900. I want a device that is as close as possible as my Linux computer.
I'm sick of using Android. I want real Linux apps and libraries ported to MeeGo so I can have good compatibility of my desktop with my phone.
I want Harmattan to be unveiled ASAP, even if only the developer device is available. I feel so stupid reading this thread day after day since the video was leaked. And I feel a healthy envy of you guys that have seen it, and know more stuff than me.
If any of you come close to Barcelona before everything is announced, consider yourself invited to whatever you want in exchange to whatever info you have and my total discretion. ;-)
